Italian journalist Nico Schira reports that Loïs Openda is increasingly regarded as the biggest disappointment of Damien Comolli’s tenure at Juventus F.C..
The main concern revolves around the structure of his contract. Juventus are obligated to pay €44 million to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season if they finish in the top 10 of Serie A.
As a result, the Bianconeri are now exploring options to move the striker on, with his agent already assessing potential interest from Premier League clubs. Juventus are considering a loan move in the hope that Openda can rediscover his form, raise his market value, and eventually secure a permanent transfer in the summer of 2027.
Openda joined Juventus at the start of the season for an initial €3.3 million fee in a deal that includes an obligation to buy. He has made 22 Serie A appearances, starting six matches, and featured seven times in the UEFA Champions League with three starts.
