Tunji Disu is a career cop with over 30 years in the Nigeria Police Force, rose through the ranks the hard way, and has handled some of the toughest security beats in the country.

He once headed the Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS), a unit many credit for changing street-level policing and crime response in the state.

He’s been commissioner of police in Rivers State and later in Abuja (FCT).

Until his appointment, he has served as the Head of the Intelligence Response Team of the Nigerian Police Force.

He has led elite intelligence and tactical units.
