Liverpool are reportedly considering re-signing Jarell Quansah from Bayer 04 Leverkusen, with the club holding an €80 million buy-back clause valid until the end of May, according to berger_pj. The clause places the Premier League side in a strong position should they decide to bring the defender back to Anfield.
Quansah is a product of Liverpool’s academy, having joined the club at a young age before rising through the ranks to make his senior debut in August 2023. During his time with the first team, he made 58 appearances across all competitions and scored three goals before securing a move to the Bundesliga in the summer of 2025.
Since joining Bayer Leverkusen, the centre-back has continued his development in Germany. He has made 32 appearances for the club this season, scoring four goals. His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Liverpool now weighing up the possibility of activating their buy-back option.
