Matías Almeyda Sacked as Sevilla Head Coach

Sevilla have announced the sacking of Matías Almeyda as head coach. Almeyda was appointed in the summer of 2025 and leaves after managing 32 official matches, with ten wins, seven draws, and 15 losses. The club currently sit 15th in La Liga, three points above the relegation zone, having scored 43 goals and conceded 52 during his tenure.

The decision follows Sevilla’s 2-0 defeat to Valencia, and the club will now search for a new coach to take charge for the remainder of the season.
