Liverpool Legend Andy Robertson to Leave at Season’s end, the football club confirmed the news in a post that read: “we can confirm Andy Robertson will bring his Reds career to an end at the conclusion of the current season. He will do so as a Liverpool legend ❤️”
Robertson joined from Hull City in 2017 for £8 million and leaves with 373 appearances, 13 goals, and 69 assists, including 60 Premier League assists—second only to teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold among defenders.
He won nine major trophies, from two Premier League titles to the 2019 Champions League, and served as vice-captain under Jurgen Klopp.
In an interview the club legend reflected on putting his heart and soul into the club with few regrets stating: “”I’ll always look back on amazing memories at this football club, I’ve put my heart and soul into the club for nine years and I’ve not got many regrets.”
Mohamed Salah paid tribute, calling him a legend and friend, while fans mourn the end of an era with only Virgil van Dijk and Alisson left from the 2019 winners.
