The Super Eagles will step up preparations for upcoming international competitions with two high profile friendly matches in June against Poland and Portugal.
Nigeria Football Federation’s FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachon of Eurodata Sport, confirmed on Thursday that the clash with Poland will be played at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw on June 3.
The second fixture will see Nigeria face Portugal on June 10, with the venue yet to be announced. The encounter against the Seleção das Quinas will serve as Portugal’s final match before they travel to compete at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
In addition to the June friendlies, the Super Eagles are also scheduled to defend their title at the Unity Cup Tournament in London, which will take place from May 26 to May 30, according to Oganla Media.
The fixtures present an important opportunity for Nigeria to build momentum, test squad depth and fine tune strategies ahead of crucial competitions later in the year.
