“I urged you to listen closely to the earnest voices of the people, to think not in terms of “reasons why it can’t be done,” but in terms of “ways to make it possible.” And to tackle difficult tasks with a sense of “pride and responsibility.” 

“Meeting all of you—the young and vibrant new recruits to the various ministries and agencies—filled me with energy as well.

“I sincerely look forward to your great achievements. Let’s work hard together.”
