Çalhanoğlu’s Agent Dismisses Galatasaray Rumours, Affirms Inter Commitment

The agent of Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Gordon Stipic, has firmly dismissed renewed speculation linking the midfielder with a move to Galatasaray, reiterating his client’s commitment to Inter Milan.

In a detailed statement addressing the rumours, Stipic made it clear that there have been no discussions or formal approaches regarding a transfer, while emphasizing the player’s satisfaction and focus at his current club.

“As a general rule, I do not comment on rumours, but in this case it is important for me to clarify the facts once and for all.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu is under contract with Inter Milan until 2027 and is very happy both in Italy and at Inter.

Public speculation about a possible move to Galatasaray has surfaced repeatedly in the past and is now being raised again. The facts, however, are clear: there were no negotiations with Galatasaray either last summer or in January. At no point was there any concrete inquiry or request.

Hakan remains fully focused on what truly matters at this stage: Inter Milan, the fight for the Scudetto and achieving success together with the team. Week after week, through his performances, his passion and his sense of responsibility on the pitch, he continues to demonstrate his quality and his importance to the team, while also looking ahead with great pride and determination to the upcoming World Cup, where he will lead his nation as captain, a responsibility that is a special honour and means everything to him.”

Despite continued interest from Galatasaray since last season, the statement underscores that Hakan Çalhanoğlu remains fully committed to his role at Inter Milan, with his immediate focus firmly on domestic success and international ambitions.
