State High Court Adjourns Ruling On El-Rufai's Bail Application To June.

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El Rufai, appears before the Kaduna State High Court for continuation of the hearing on the bail application

He was brought to the court premises under tight security as proceedings continue in the case filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission on multiple charges bordering on alleged financial crimes and abuse of office.

Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court has adjourned the bail hearing of former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai to the first week of June, 2026.

The adjournment places the former governor at risk of missing the ADC primaries, which are scheduled to hold between late April and the end of May 2026, in line with the electoral timetable issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
