Barcelona are scheduled to hold official talks with Inter Milan on 18 May 2026 to open negotiations for defender Alessandro Bastoni.

Both clubs are expected to begin formal discussions next week, with the meeting set as the starting point for transfer negotiations.

Bastoni is Barcelona’s top target for the centre-back position, with sporting director Deco aiming to secure a deal in the region of €50m–€60m.

The club have already reached a full agreement with the Italian defender over personal terms on a contract running until June 2031.

Negotiations between Barcelona and Inter will now determine whether an agreement can be reached for the transfer.
