Prime Minister Magyar Peter At His EU Debut In Brussel Says He Wants Represent The Hungarian People At All Times.

Magyar Peter: “The first day of the #EUCO in Brussels ended around one o’clock in the morning. The second day is now about to begin.

“In my first speech, I spoke to Europe’s leaders about honesty and the need to move beyond political correctness, double standards, and doublespeak. I told them what I had experienced over the past two years while visiting 700 towns and villages, speaking directly with people, and what I believe politics should be about.

“I stressed that I do not want to be popular in the room or in Brussels — I want to represent the Hungarian people at all times.

“I show respect, and I expect the same respect in return for my country.

At the end of my speech, I received strong applause, which is unusual, even though I had clearly supported the previous speakers who advocated further tightening the rules on illegal migration.

“This is now clearly the majority view among European leaders.
