Inter Milan have submitted an official €45 million offer for highly-rated Italian defender Marco Palestra, with the proposal arriving within the last 24 hours.
According to Krrish, the offer is structured as €40 million in fixed payments, spread in instalments, plus an additional €5 million in performance-related bonuses. However, Atalanta are unlikely to accept the current proposal, as they are demanding €50 million guaranteed, plus further add-ons.
Inter have already received the green light from Palestra’s representatives and are now advancing discussions over personal terms. The Nerazzurri are reportedly working on a five-year contract for the 20-year-old.
Despite strong interest from the Premier League, including Arsenal, Manchester City and Newcastle United, Inter remain determined to secure the deal and are keen to avoid lengthy negotiations.
Talks between the two clubs are ongoing as Inter push to reach an agreement for one of Italy’s most promising young talents.
