Tottenham Hotspur Target Dinamo Zagreb Prospect Sergi Domínguez

Tottenham Hotspur have identified Sergi Domínguez as a priority young talent and are showing concrete interest in signing the highly-rated defender from Dinamo Zagreb.

Spurs have closely monitored the Spanish youngster over recent months and have been impressed by his development and performances. Club scouts view Domínguez as one of the most promising defensive prospects in European football.

The North London side are exploring a long-term development plan similar to the pathway used for Luka Vušković. Tottenham’s intention would be to secure Domínguez’s signature before sending him on loan to continue his progression and gain valuable first-team experience.

Dinamo Zagreb are open to a sale if their valuation is met. The Croatian club previously rejected a €4 million offer from Lazio, but Tottenham are prepared to increase the stakes significantly, with a package that could reach €10 million.

An additional factor in the deal is FC Barcelona’s involvement. Having emerged from La Masia, Domínguez’s former club are entitled to 20% of any future transfer fee agreed between Dinamo Zagreb and Tottenham.

Talks remain at an early stage, but Tottenham’s interest is genuine and the club are positioning themselves strongly in the race for one of Europe’s most exciting young defensive talents.
