Olly Foster, a survivor initially believed it was a prank: he heard screams, put his hand on a seat, and only then saw it covered in blood:
“I was listening to Audible on my phone, and a guy shouted: ‘Run, there’s a guy stabbing everyone.’
Is this a joke? It was Halloween.”
On Saturday evening, an unidentified attacker launched a stabbing rampage on a train traveling from Doncaster to London. At least ten people were injured, nine of them are in life-threatening condition.
A witness told Sky News the attacker was dressed head-to-toe in black. Police used a taser and subdued him at the station.
Police detained two suspects but cleared one, after establishing he was not involved in the attack.
