The Member of the House of Representatives for Lagos Island Federal Constituency II and Chairman of the House Committee on Anti-corruption, Honorable (Prince) Kayode Moshood Akiolu, has extended his warm congratulations to the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, Mayor (Prince) Taiwo Ajibade Oyekan, on the successful and impactful milestone of his first 100 days in office.

(Prince) Akiolu lauded Mayor Oyekan’s dynamic leadership and the visible developmental strides that have begun to positively change the face of governance in Lagos Island Local Government. He described the first 100 days as a period of focused action and tangible progress.
The Federal Lawmaker specifically acknowledged the Mayor’s relentless drive in environmental sanitation and urban renewal efforts, which have significantly improved the aesthetics and hygiene of the local government area. He also commended the administration’s commitment to project execution, noting that the various people-oriented projects initiated and completed within this short period demonstrate a clear understanding of the needs of the people.
