Chelsea Secure Convincing 3-0 Win Over Wolverhampton Wanderers

Chelsea moved up to third place in the Premier League with a 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge.

Malo Gusto, Joao Pedro, and Pedro Neto were all on the scoresheet, helping Chelsea control the match from start to finish. Alejandro Garnacho was the standout performer, delivering two assists from the left wing and consistently troubling the Wolves’ defense.

After the match, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca praised his team’s performance. “We are happy with the performance. I was very worried before the game because these are always tricky matches, but in the first half and second half, we created so many chances and didn’t concede anything.

“Even in the first half, I was happy with the performance, and the difference between the first and second halves is that in the second we scored goals and in the first we missed many chances.

“You need to be clinical, otherwise the game is always open and anything can happen. In the second half, we scored three goals, could’ve scored more,” he said.

Chelsea will now turn their attention to their next Premier League fixture, visiting Burnley on the 22nd of November after the international break.
