The U.S. Senate voted 60-40 late Monday to approve a continuing resolution funding federal operations through January 30, 2026, and providing full-year appropriations for military construction, veterans affairs, agriculture, and the legislative branch.
Eight Democrats joined Republicans to pass the measure after rejecting amendments for Affordable Care Act tax credit extensions and a hemp provision opposed by Sen. Rand Paul, with the bill now heading to the House for a vote as early as Wednesday.
