Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi in a short statement on Tuesday offered condolences to India over explosion that happened in its capital on Monday near Red Fort, killing 13 people and injuring 20 others
Takaichi wrote on X: ‘I am in deep sorrow to learn that many precious lives were lost in the explosion that occurred in Delhi, India.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Japan, I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to the victims and their bereaved families. I also offer my sincere prayers for the swift recovery of the injured.” She prayed.
No cause for the explosion has been given yet but investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the explosion while Prime Minister Narendra Modi has vowed to bring those responsible to justice.
