John Cena defeated Dominik Mysterio in an 18-minute WWE Raw match at TD Garden in Boston to win the Intercontinental Championship, completing his Grand Slam after 16 world titles, a United States Championship, tag team gold, and victories in Money in the Bank and Royal Rumble.

The hometown crowd chanted ‘Thank you, Cena’ during his celebration, marking his final performance in the city as part of his retirement tour.

Cena in an appreciate notes to fans wrote: “Thank you Boston. It meant so much to be able, for one last time, to be allowed an opportunity to do what I love, in a place I love, surrounded by those I love. Our performances are only meaningful if YOU the audience invest in us and decide they are.
