President of Venesula Nicolás Maduro picked up a microphone at a big rally and belted out John Lennon’s 1971 famous song “Imagine.” He sang it on state TV, surrounded by his supporters.

“Peace, peace, I want peace!” he yelled, just after officially welcoming a group of loyal fans dressed in red shirts into his local support teams.

He urged young Venezuelans to learn the song’s words. “It’s a great source of inspiration… and a gift to humanity” he said. Yeah, especially the lines about a world with no countries, no money.
