The 2023 presidential hopeful under the umbrella of Labour Party and former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi on Thursday celebrated Nigerian former president Goodluck Jonathan on the occasion of his 68th birthday.

Obi wrote on X:“Today, I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating my very dear elder brother, His Excellency Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, as he marks his 68th birthday.

“His years of statesmanship, calm disposition in leadership, outstanding patriotism and exemplary respect for democracy continue to stand as a reference point for our nation and our continent.

“On this special day, I pray that God Almighty grants him more healthy, fruitful and happy years. Also, grant him more wisdom, strength, continued contributions to peace, and nation-building, inspiring generations to come.
