Terrorists Strike Again In Kwara State, Abduct Pregnant Woman And Children

Around 6 p.m. Monday, 30 armed bandits struck the Isapa community of Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, abducted 11 residents, fired shots that wounded an elderly woman and left bullet-riddled buildings behind.

Seven victims out of the abductees came from one family, including vulnerable mothers and children; while the gunmen fled after the attack.

A community leader confirmed the incident under anonymity, stating the kidnapped victims include a pregnant woman, two nursing mothers, and several young children.

This came just a day after 38 churchgoers were freed nearby, as security teams now search bush paths for the latest captives amid rising fears in rural communities.
