Uganda Names Squad For AFCON 2025: Cranes Gear Up For Historic Campaign

Uganda has announced its squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with players reporting to Morocco for preparation. Although only 15 players are present at the moment, with the rest expected to join the team on December 15th due to FIFA’s extension on player release dates, the team is focused and ready. Uganda will play two friendly games in Morocco against FAR Rabat on December 13th and Gabon on December 16th.

Uganda, managed by Paul Put, is in Group C alongside Nigeria, Tanzania, and Tunisia. Put called up 30 players for the tournament, and the Cranes will be looking to make a deep run in this edition.
