Fenerbahçe Thrash Brann 4-0 In Europa League; Talisca Nets Hat-Trick, Aktürkoğlu Hits Milestone

Fenerbahçe delivered a dominant performance in the UEFA Europa League, dismantling Brann 4-0 in a resounding victory. Anderson Talisca starred with a sensational hat-trick, while Kerem Aktürkoğlu added a goal, marking a personal milestone.

Aktürkoğlu’s strike made him the Turkish player with the most goals in a European season for Fenerbahçe since Tuncay Şanlı, who scored four goals in the 2006/07 campaign. This season, Aktürkoğlu has netted four goals in five Europa League matches.

After the match, Talisca expressed his delight over the performance:

“I’m very happy. We were very good as a team. The pitch conditions didn’t help us, but we played very well. I’m very happy to have helped my team. Every match is important. Every match is tough. We want to reflect what our coach wants in the best way possible on the field. We never gave up the fight. We’ll continue like this.”

Talisca dedicated his hat-trick to his teammates:

“I’ll get the whole team to sign the ball I scored my hat-trick with and then take it home. This is a team game.”

Looking ahead, he emphasized the team’s ambitions:

“Our goals are very clear, we want to win all the tournaments we are participating in and we are continuing on our way to achieve these goals.”

With this win, Talisca’s season tally rises to 11 goals and one assist. The victory also propelled Fenerbahçe to 12th place in the Europa League standings, with 11 points.

Fenerbahçe next Europa League match will be in the new year  against Aston Villa. They will return to Turkish Super Lig action to face Konyaspor on Monday, 15th December.
