Aliko Dangote the Chairperson of Dangote Group of company, during a press briefing on Channels TV throw up allegations at Farouk Ahmed, the head of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority—NMDPRA—accusing him of corruption and economic sabotage.

Dangote alleged that Ahmed lives far beyond his official income, citing claims of millions of dollars spent on foreign school fees while also accusing him of blocking local refining and favouring fuel imports.

“Mallam Farouk has four of his children that he educated in Switzerland at the cost of 5 million Dollars for their secondary school education….” Dangote disclosed
