Governor Ademola Adeleke; “Today, I signed the 2026 Appropriation Bill of N723.4bn into law, marking a new phase of consolidation and expansion of good governance in Osun State.
“Over the last three years, our administration has laid a solid foundation for sustainable development, clearing salary and pension backlogs, prioritising workers’ welfare, completing abandoned projects, and delivering impactful infrastructure across the state.
“From over 250km of roads, flyovers and road dualisations, to investments in agriculture, healthcare, education, energy and youth development, Osun has witnessed real progress.
“Our economy is growing, debt profile reduced by over 40%, infrastructure deficit cut significantly, and our performance in education and primary healthcare now ranks among the best in the South West.
“As we move into 2026, we remain focused on full implementation of this budget, completing ongoing projects and rolling out new initiatives that put people first.
“I deeply appreciate the trust, prayers and support of the good people of Osun. By the grace of God and the will of the people, we will continue this journey of responsible, transparent and people-centred leadership.”
