Kano State’s Commissioner for Investment, Gwani Shehu Wada Sagagi, handed out 10 bicycles to junior staff this week, paying for them himself to ease travel burdens from high fuel prices.
The event at the ministry in Kano marked his first year in office, with Sagagi calling it motivation for their hard work and planning another 10 bikes soon.
Staff and the administration director praised the move, noting it would boost commitment amid economic pressures, though opinions divided sharply on its value.
