Patrick Dorgu is expected to be sidelined for up to 10 weeks after suffering a hamstring injury, according to reports from Laurie Whitwell.
The injury was sustained during the second half of Manchester United’s 3–2 victory over league leaders Arsenal on Sunday. Dorgu pulled up while chasing a long ball and was forced off as a result.
As things stand, Dorgu is set to miss at least eight matches during his recovery period. Those fixtures include Fulham (February 1), Tottenham Hotspur (February 7), West Ham United (February 10), Everton (February 23), Crystal Palace (March 1), Newcastle United (March 4), Aston Villa (March 14), and Bournemouth (March 20).
The absence represents a significant blow for Manchester United. Dorgu has featured in every Premier League match for the club this season except one and has contributed three goals and three assists.
