Paris Saint-Germain have officially completed the signing of midfielder Dro from FC Barcelona, securing the player on a contract valid until June 2030.
Barça will receive a €8.2 million transfer fee, a figure notably higher than the player’s €6 million release clause. The deal was made possible thanks to the strong relationship between the two clubs, particularly between PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Barcelona president Joan Laporta, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Dro expressed his excitement and pride after completing the move to the French champions:
“I’m very happy and proud to sign for Paris Saint-Germain. It’s a moment of great pride for me and my family. PSG is a huge club that I’ve followed since I was a child, where great legends have made history. I’m highly motivated and eager to give everything for this shirt.”
The midfielder will wear the number 27 shirt and is expected to be integrated directly into PSG’s first-team squad.
