“One day my time will come. And I’m not scared either, at all.”
Anthony Joshua survived a car crash near Lagos, Nigeria, that killed his personal trainer Latif Ayodele and strength coach Sina Ghami, both 36.
Treated for minor injuries and released January 1, 2026, Joshua reflected in a six-minute video titled: “A short message from the heart. My brother’s keeper for life. 🖤🪖🖤” on their shared dreams, vowing to honor their families and goals.
He thanked supporters worldwide, including Nigerian leaders and billionaires, while funerals took place January 4 in London, which he attended.
He also show a massive amount of appreciation to the first responders, to everyone who rushed to help Latz and Sina, to those who helped me get to the hospital, and to all the locals who prayed for us at the scene.
