Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, on Wednesday commissioned the new 18.75km expressway from Eleko to Epe T-Junction, turning a two-lane rural roadway to a six-lane rigid concrete carriageway.
Sanwo-Olu stated that: “This construction feat marks a significant improvement in our effort to redevelop the rural road, built over 40 years ago.
“After commissioning the completed first phase of the road, we immediately flagged off the second phase of the road project, which will extend the construction from the Eleko axis to Abraham Adesanya Roundabout.” He added.
