Club sources indicate that Arbeloa has adopted a more flexible approach with the senior players, giving them greater freedom on the pitch and limiting tactical instructions. This management style is believed to have resonated well with the dressing room, particularly among the club’s biggest names.

While the hierarchy continues to hold Xabi Alonso in high regard and considers him a fantastic coach, there is a belief that his methods demanded too much from the senior players an approach they were not entirely accustomed to.
