Joe Igbokwe, the spokesperson to All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State chapter, and Special Adviser on Drainage Services and Water Resources on a fact finding mission in Lagos on Thursday, arising from Naira scarcity complaint from Nigerians, expressed his disbelief at lack of network and unavailability of cash.
He faulted the Central Bank of Nigeria, its method of Naira swap as a means to curb vote buying, pointing out that if the Apex bank was going to withdraw from the public the sum of ₦1trillion, it should have produced more than it is withdrawing, especially as the election drew nearer.
He alluded that: “This is complete sabotage, few days to the presidential election and we are witnessing this, who is doing this?
“Those in charge as a matter of urgency should do the needful.” He advised.
