Nigerian politician and activist, Senator Shehu Sani in response to President Muhammadu Buhari assuring the citizens of resolving cash scarcity within the next seven days, alluded that PMB has a habit of inflicting pain on the people and coming back to tell them he feels their pain.
Senator Sani statement on his twitter read: “The King has a habit and history of slapping people and telling them that he feels their pain or sending his aides to tell them that he is not happy that they are in pain.”
And continued further : “Queue for now and expect Presidential miracle in 7 days.”
PMB in an address on Friday had assured Nigerians to finding solution to the Naira scarcity within seven days when he stated: “I am aware of the cash shortages and hardship being faced by people and businesses, on account of the Naira redesign. I want to assure that we are doing everything to resolve these issues. Nigerians should expect significant improvements between now and the February 10 deadline.”
Shehu Sani had in the same breathe, adviced those who the banking system had frustrated into naked protestation to desist from the act, noting that stripping naked won’t get them their cash, he urged them to use a placard in lieu of nakedness.
“The frustrations in the banking system is indeed a reality;but please ladies should stop stripping naked in the Banking Hall in the name of protest.Please just peacefully raise placards.That is ok.”
