Orlando City SC are reportedly in discussions with Antoine Griezmann over a potential summer transfer, according to journalist Mario Cortegana. The MLS club is offering the French forward a three-year contract and hopes to complete the deal before mid-March, when the MLS transfer window closes.

The decision ultimately rests with Griezmann and his current club, Atletico Madrid, who are keen to retain the striker.

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone addressed the reported interest, saying, “I won’t speak for him. I care about him a lot. I already told him what I think: that he should always choose what’s best for himself. He’s in a place where he deserves to decide what he wants to do.”

Griezmann has yet to make a decision or comment publicly on the Orlando City offer.
