Prime Minister Narendra Modi Places wreath at the world holocaust remembrance center and visited the Hall of Names, paying tribute to the victims of the Holocaust and reaffirming a collective resolve to stand for peace and human dignity.

In his quest to reaffirm the strong ties between India and Israel, PM Modi in his message described the Holocaust as one of humanity’s darkest chapters and a reminder of the vital need to preserve peace and human dignity.

Modi wrote on X: “I placed a wreath at Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center. I am grateful to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for accompanying me during this visit.

“I also visited the Hall of Names, a reverent space that preserves the memory of those who suffered and perished during the Holocaust.

“The Holocaust stands as one of the darkest chapters in human history. It is an eternal reminder of the need to uphold humanity, dignity, and peace.”
