Spanish Prime minister Pedro Sánchez in a Wednesday broadcast has emphatically says ‘NO to War,’ this comes after U.S cut off trade with Spain over its P.M refusal to allow American Forces use their Military Bases.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on the United States:”23 years ago, another U.S. administration dragged us into a war in the Middle East. A war that, in theory, was said at the time to aim to eliminate Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction, to establish democracy, and to ensure global security.
“But in reality, it produced the opposite effect: it triggered the greatest wave of insecurity our continent has known since the fall of the Berlin Wall.
“The war in Iraq led to a drastic increase in jihadist terrorism, a severe migration crisis in the eastern Mediterranean, and a widespread rise in energy prices.”
