Prime Minister Mark Carney visits Japan, High City Prime Minister greeted him, bringing the two elevated Japan-Canada relations to a new height called a “comprehensive strategic partnership,” and signed a joint Japan-Canada statement.

Mark Carney stated: “Canada and Japan are close and long-standing partners. In a more uncertain world, we’re ready to deepen our partnership to the benefit of both our peoples.”

“Canada are Japan are going to work together in defence, energy, critical minerals, trade, and technology to unlock enormous opportunities for our workers and businesses.”
