Roberto De Zerbi has been offered a five-year contract by Tottenham Hotspur, in a deal that would make him one of the highest-paid managers in the Premier League, according to The Athletic.
The North London club has presented De Zerbi with a significant financial package as they move swiftly to appoint a new head coach following the departure of Igor Tudor.
Just last week, De Zerbi had indicated to Spurs that he preferred to wait until the summer before making a decision on his future. However, the scale and structure of Tottenham’s latest offer have reportedly changed his stance, with the Italian now open to taking the role immediately.
Negotiations are said to be at an advanced stage, with an agreement between both parties now close.
