Igor Tudor Leaves Tottenham Hotspur Amid Relegation Battle

Igor Tudor has stepped down from his role as head coach of Tottenham Hotspur after a brief six-game spell in charge.

During his tenure, Tudor oversaw seven matches, recording five wins, one draw, and one defeat. Despite a promising return in results, the club has confirmed his immediate departure by mutual agreement.

In an official statement, Tottenham said:

“We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed for Head Coach Igor Tudor to leave the Club with immediate effect.”

The club also confirmed the exit of members of his backroom staff:

“Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their respective roles of Goalkeeping Coach and Physical Coach.”

Spurs expressed gratitude for the efforts of Tudor and his team, while also acknowledging personal circumstances affecting the manager:

“We thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their efforts during the past six weeks, in which they worked tirelessly. We also acknowledge the bereavement that Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time.”

The club concluded by confirming that a replacement will be announced in due course:

“An update on a new Head Coach will be provided in due course.”

Tottenham currently sit 17th in the Premier League, just one point above the relegation zone
