FC Barcelona are reportedly having doubts over completing a permanent move for Marcus Rashford, as the club continues to evaluate its options for the left wing position ahead of the summer transfer window.
Barcelona have until June 15 to activate Rashford’s €30 million release clause, but the club is not inclined to meet that valuation. Instead, they are expected to negotiate for a lower fee or explore the possibility of securing another loan deal. On the other hand, Manchester United are holding firm on their €30 million asking price, according to reports from journalist Samuel Marsden.
Due to this uncertainty, Barcelona are also considering alternative targets, including Ez Abde and other potential options to strengthen the left flank.
Rashford has made a notable impact during his time at the club this season. The forward has registered 39 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists across all competitions, contributing significantly to Barcelona’s attacking play.
Barcelona’s final decision is expected to depend on financial flexibility and negotiations with Manchester United, as the club looks to balance squad improvement with economic constraints ahead of the new season.
