Bundesliga Clubs Eye Young Talents Nathan De Cat and Kennet Eichhorn Ahead of Summer Window

Several Bundesliga clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig, are reportedly in the race to sign Belgian talent Nathan De Cat. FC Bayern Munich also remain interested, keeping De Cat on their shortlist for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite the attention on De Cat, the current priority for all three clubs appears to be another highly rated young prospect, Kennet Eichhorn. The 17-year-old talent from RSC Anderlecht is valued at approximately €20-25 million for a potential summer move. Eichhorn’s contract with Anderlecht runs until 2027 and does not include a release clause, which could complicate negotiations.

Comparing the two players, Nathan De Cat has enjoyed significant playing time this season, making 38 appearances across all competitions for Anderlecht. During that period, he has contributed three goals and five assists, showcasing his ability to influence matches consistently.

Meanwhile, Kennet Eichhorn has featured less frequently, with 15 total appearances for Hertha BSC this season, primarily in the 2. Bundesliga. Despite limited minutes, Eichhorn has made headlines for becoming the youngest debutant in the league’s history at just 16 years and 14 days old. He has also scored once, but his early introduction at such a young age highlights his potential and long-term value.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Bundesliga clubs will have to weigh immediate impact against long-term potential when deciding between the promising De Cat and the record-breaking Eichhorn.
