Juventus are reportedly considering a move for Alisson Becker, with head coach Luciano Spalletti identifying the Liverpool FC goalkeeper as a top target.
According to Franc Guerrieri, Juventus are exploring the possibility of signing Alisson as a potential replacement for Michele Di Gregorio. Spalletti, who previously coached Alisson during their time at AS Roma, is keen on a reunion and believes the Brazilian would be a key addition to his squad.
The Italian giants are reportedly confident they can match Alisson’s current salary as they push to strengthen their goalkeeping options.
Alisson has been a vital figure for Liverpool since joining the club in 2018. The Brazilian shot-stopper has made 331 appearances, contributing not only with his goalkeeping but also registering one famous goal a dramatic last-minute header against West Bromwich Albion in 2021 along with three assists.
He officially joined Liverpool on July 19, 2018, completing a £66.8 million (€72.5 million) move from AS Roma, which at the time set a world-record transfer fee for a goalkeeper. Alisson made his competitive debut on August 12, 2018, in a 4–0 victory over West Ham United.
During his time at Anfield, Alisson has won eight major trophies, including two Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League, one FA Cup, two EFL Cups, one FIFA Club World Cup, one UEFA Super Cup, and one FA Community Shield.
A potential move would mark a significant shift for both Juventus and Liverpool, as one of the world’s top goalkeepers could be on the move once again.
