Galatasaray Weigh Permanent Move for Sacha Boey, Seek Lower Fee

Galatasaray are considering signing Sacha Boey on a permanent deal but are reluctant to activate the €15 million buy option currently attached to his situation.

The Turkish giants are instead exploring the possibility of negotiating a reduced transfer fee or arranging a second loan spell as they assess the defender’s long-term future at the club.

Boey remains under contract with FC Bayern Munich until 2028. However, he is reportedly not part of the club’s long-term plans, opening the door for a potential exit.

Boey previously made a strong impression during his time at Galatasaray, where his performances established him as one of the standout full-backs in the Turkish Süper Lig. His form earned him a move to Bayern Munich, but opportunities in Germany have been limited, affecting his development and consistency.

Galatasaray’s renewed interest reflects their desire to reinforce their squad with a familiar and proven option, particularly as they aim to remain competitive domestically and in European competitions. Negotiations are expected to continue as both clubs evaluate the most suitable arrangement.
