Manchester United Hold Talks With Elliot Anderson Amid Growing Transfer Interest

Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Elliot Anderson after holding direct talks with the midfielder and his representatives within the last 24 hours, per Krrish.

Anderson’s agents were said to be present at Old Trafford following the recent clash between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest, where discussions took place regarding a potential summer move.

Reports also claim that former Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick personally spoke with Anderson outside the dressing room after the match. The discussions were allegedly supported by club captain Bruno Fernandes and rising star Kobbie Mainoo, as the club intensifies efforts to convince the talented midfielder to make the move to Old Trafford.

Nottingham Forest are understood to be open to a sale but would demand a package worth around £80 million before considering offers for one of their key players.

The race for Anderson’s signature is expected to be highly competitive, with Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea all monitoring the situation closely.

At present, Manchester City are believed to be leading the race for the midfielder. However, Manchester United remain determined to make a strong push in the coming weeks.

The player is reportedly not keen on a move to London, a factor that could significantly influence the direction of the transfer battle this summer.
