Paris Saint-Germain have held discussions with the representatives of Julián Álvarez to assess his availability ahead of a potential summer move, according to reports, per Krrish.
The Argentine forward has emerged as a key target for PSG manager Luis Enrique, who is said to be a strong admirer of Álvarez’s versatility, movement, and attacking intelligence as the club looks to strengthen its striker options.
While conversations have taken place in recent weeks between PSG and the player’s camp, sources indicate that no agreement has been reached and no deal is currently close at this stage.
Atlético Madrid are understood to hold a strong position regarding any potential transfer, with the Spanish club only willing to consider offers in the region of €142 million to €150 million.
At present, PSG are not prepared to meet that valuation. Meanwhile, FC Barcelona and Arsenal are also monitoring the situation, though both clubs are believed to value the player significantly lower, in the €80 million to €100 million range.
Despite growing interest across Europe, the situation remains at an early stage, with no formal negotiations advancing towards a deal as of now.
