Atlético Madrid have reached a full verbal agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign Brazilian midfielder João Gomes, with final details now being arranged ahead of an official announcement, per Krrish.

A meeting between both clubs is scheduled for tomorrow to finalise the structure of the deal, particularly focusing on performance-related bonuses and add-ons. The overall package is expected to be worth around €42 million.

João Gomes is set to sign a five-year contract with Atlético Madrid, running until June 2031. The agreement will reportedly include a salary package worth around €5 million annually, with €4.5 million as a fixed wage and an additional €0.5 million in bonuses.

Atlético Madrid are now preparing to complete the transfer in the coming days, with paperwork and payment procedures expected to begin shortly once all final terms are agreed between both parties.
