Police have reported of arresting a 13-year-old boy for slashing another teen during an after-school fight in Brooklyn.
The teen is facing assault and weapons possession charges for the fight on Roosevelt Pl. near Atlantic Ave. in Brownsville at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
His identity is not being released because the perpetrator is a minor
His victim, also 13, suffered deep stab and slash wounds to his back during the brawl, cops said. The two are enrolled in different schools.
The victim attends the Eagle Academy for Young Men at Ocean Hill, a boy’s school located on Herkimer St. about a block away from where he was attacked, police said.
The victim was arguing with his attacker and several other students when he was slashed.
EMS rushed the child to Brookdale University Medical Center, where he was treated and expected to recover.
Cops arrested the stabber at the scene without incident and he is being charged as a juvenile, prosecutors confirmed.
