Newcastle United Explore Abde Ezzalzouli Deal As Winger Emerges On Shortlist

Newcastle United have made initial enquiries to Real Betis over the conditions of a potential move for winger Abde Ezzalzouli, with the player emerging as one of their main targets for a new left-sided forward.

According to Krrish 23-year-old is understood to be on Newcastle’s shortlist as they assess reinforcements in wide attacking areas ahead of the new season. Discussions so far are at an early stage, focused on understanding the structure of any possible deal rather than formal negotiations.

Real Betis are reluctant to part with the winger following their qualification for European competition, although Ezzalzouli has a reported release clause of around €60 million.

The Morocco international is believed to be open to a move to the Premier League, with sources suggesting the opportunity to play in England would be attractive regardless of Champions League participation.

Ezzalzouli enjoyed a strong campaign, contributing 25 goals and assists in 43 appearances last season. Former club FC Barcelona are also expected to benefit from a 20% sell-on clause should any deal reach the full release clause value.

No formal negotiations have taken place at this stage, with Newcastle continuing to evaluate multiple options before making a final decision on their attacking targets.
