Fresh off a 4-2 World Cup opener victory over Croatia where Kane scored twice to match Gary Lineker’s record of 10 major tournament goals, England’s squad visited Kansas City’s Kauffman Stadium for a recovery day.
Tuchel, in a custom Royals jersey, threw the first pitch while Kane, Dan Burn, Djed Spence and others mingled with fans and the mascot.
The Royals crushed the Cardinals 14-6 in the I-70 Series, with Salvador Perez hitting his 137th homer at the stadium to break George Brett’s record, though shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. left early with a knee issue listed as precautionary.
Harry Kane in a post on X wrote: “Great recovery day with the boys at the baseball. Would love to give batting a go one day! Thanks for having us @Royals 🙌⚾️”
